86 Fender Emblem Removal
 

Hey guys, I tried searching but couldn't find my answer. I bought the GT86 emblems for my FRS and was wondering if it's necessary to remove the entire fender garnish to install the new emblem? It looks like I might be able to remove the emblem itself with dental floss or something similar, but I don't want to waste time if I need to remove the garnish no matter what. Thanks in advance. I'm not 100 percent sure on the removal of the emblem but I recently replaced my frs garnishes so I snapped a pic of the back of one for you. I don't think the pegs are metal even though the emblem is.http://i63.tinypic.com/b6ts91.jpg

Thanks, that's what I was really looking for. It looks like the pegs just slide out by themselves. I was worried they were held in by some kind of clip or fastener.

Yeah it looks like the pegs are there as an alignment tool. I believe it's just double sided tape that will be the issue. Good luck.
