Guys, I really need help from someone that lives in Miami that can ship a door for me. Here's what's happening, about 3 weeks ago when it snowed in CT, some kid with a quad hit my BRZ door (driver's side), there were some scratches, some dents and cracked paint.

I took it to 3 different shops and the cheapest quote I got was $700. I found a door online but the seller only wants local pick up and I need someone who can pick it up for me and ship it to CT. I been so down for the past 20 days that I've only used my BRZ one time to get a repair quote (it makes me feel sad and guilty seeing it like this).

I'm willing to pay you for your time if you want to help me, basically pick up the door (I will send the money to seller), package it nicely and ship it to me. If you are willing to help me, please text me to (203)293-0384

Here's the address of the place:
14183 SW 142nd Ave
Miami, Florida

March break is coming! Maybe he could just throw it in his suitcase and fly it back.

I don't think you should be putting all that information regarding phone number and address publicly on the forum like that... I would send all the info in a PM when you get someone willing to help out... but thats just me.

Anyways, good luck!

Might get more responses in the regional sections. Can I recommend rewording your request. It sounds like something written from Nigeria.

so... you don't want to pay $700 to fix it (or have insurance fix it), yet you think you can buy a door, ship it, AND pay someone's time to package it properly for under $700?

I really think you should just have it claimed under insurance and/or have the person who hit you pay for it.

That is, unless you are the kid who hit a BRZ with a quad.

it's not only the money, no one guarantees a perfect color match.

Buying a used door from someone else doesn't guarantee a perfect color match either, so that is not a defense I would put up.

If you want a perfect match, repaint the car.

If I lived in Miami (I don't thank god), you'd have to pay me $200-300 to do something like this. That's on top of what you'd have to pay for shipping.

Btw, a lot of BRZ/FRS owners are young and the BRZ/FRS is their only car.... carrying a BRZ/FRS door inside of a BRZ/FRS (to bring it to the shipping store) would be a big challenge. Just keep that in mind.
