Tire Update: Now that it's 75F degrees outside, the Bridgestones are significantly quieter. Surprisingly comfortable tires, despite having such stiff sidewalls.

Yeah, this is what my 10-day looks like. Probably will do the swap this weekend or next week Attachment 132750

Ugh, lost a post because I forgot posting from the "Advance" box leads to the application being blocked. @HunterGreene, if you need a winter tire, you can try the i*Pikes I mentioned earlier. You live a ways north of me, but you should have similar weather. Mine have survived three winters, two of which were incredibly harsh and sketchy, and still has 10/32 tread. Depending on how many seasons I want to run on them I'll probably throw them away well before they run out of tread.

No worries, thanks for the suggestion. I actually have the Hankook I*cepts, and they have served me very well over the past two winters.

Yah, still on Primacys. No issues at all. I check the tires every so often and no chunking, surprised since I'm sure the tires never get warmed up.

If I had space in the house, I would get dedicated winters/summers.

If only I wasn't so picky, really love how the car is from factory and don't want to destroy that subjective feeling due to wrong tires.

They destroy road surfaces but loud highways >> rust.

I tried planting sunflowers 4 times. Squirrels came along and dug them all up. One little sonofabitch just followed right behind me on the last attempt. He had each one dug up and eaten before I was done burying the next. I conceded defeat and just handed him the bag. He said "thank you very much, sir" and proceeded to attempt to hide them in the pool skimmer.
Damn squirrels!

Some day he will attempt to cross the street at the wrong time. ATTEMPT!

Wow, didn't know that.
I've got the studless Hakkapeliitta R2 on my 86, btw.

Yep! And whatever your forecast should be it is what mine is since we are almost even with just a lake between us.

If you put netting down over the area you planted that can help keep out the birds and squirrels. It makes the digging kind of a chore. Once they start to sprout you can take it off.

Went to my gym yesterday (fitness 19) to get a new scanner and noticed they have a "get fit challenge" I was interested as I need a little competition in order to loose some more weight/get more fit (I'm no fatty but I do weigh 185 at 6 feet tall.. my goal is to be 170ish). Anyways the prize is $5k... That means the car could get FI'd if I won....... I think I'm going back to the gym today to learn more about this challenge and what I can do to win :D

Yeah, I know that feeling. Google all of the tire reviews and avoid the squishy.

So for you wheel experts. My wheels are matte gun metal, and I will be using black lugs. However the centercaps are polished aluminum. Do I paint them gloss black or leave them as is?? I am open to other suggestions

I do miss the whistle and PSSSSH sounds myself that my WRX made. Heads would turn and they would see me grinning with a 'that's right' nod.
