newb rim question
 

i have not messed with wider tires and rims on a car before

is this ok? my friend has an extra set of these with 35 offset 18x8.5 and i was going to take them off his hands if they do fit right :D

I'm not an expert - but form what I've been looking at they seem to be ok.... they might tuck under a bit, but better left for someone else to answer

be keen to see what they look like fitted

yes they're fine. i have 17x9 28offset on my corolla and i'm only poking a little on the rears.

That's a different size, different offset and different car. What are you basing your opinion of off?
