What should I do about this scratch?

Hey guys! Just purchased a '13 CPO BRZ last week. :D

It's my first manual, so I'm still learning and I'm having a lot of fun. However, I noticed that I had a scratch in front of the car 2 days ago. My parking space has a wall in the front of the car, so I don't think anyone could've ran into me.
Nor do I remember running into a car? Not sure how exactly that's been there.

Perhaps it was always there - I should've taken pics at the dealer before buying it haha.

Either way - Do you guys think it's something to replace the bumper for to fix it? What happens if i leave it? Will it rust? I'd appreciate all kinds of advice. :D

The bumper is palstic and will not rust. Unless you are going to prep the car for shows start getting used to little scratches. It's part of vehicle ownership :-)

Touch up paint + tooth pick + hair dryer on lowest setting. Dont forget the clear coat pen!

But yeah, dont worry about chips and scratches since there will be lots coming in the future. I only care about the parts that will rust.

Thanks a lot for your comments! :)
Which parts DO rust then?

lol ^^this^^ If a magnet sticks, it will rust. If you want to experiment, I suggest a fridge magnet so it doesn't scratch anything.

I learned from a neighbor how to inspect for body filler on a used vehicle. He wrapped a magnet in a hand towel and just tapped all over the suspect areas. It works beautifully.

Hood won't rust since it's aluminum.
