FRS Seat material durable?

Hey all, I really like the feel of the seats, but I'm wondering just how durable they are, if they wear pretty easy I will just go ahead and get some covers while they are new. Thanks for any help.

They should be pretty durable, Alcantara is a crushed microfiber with a polyester infusion. It just requires cleaning with a damp cloth or specific cleaners shown on their website. Basically if you take care of it it should last the life of the car.

While shopping for my car, I saw some worn and damaged seats. I'd probably cover it if you cared.

50K miles on mine. In and out in and out in and out. Still as good as day one.

Welcome to ye ol forum, IronDuke ........

From my limited experience (16,000 miles - 3 years) the cloth seats in my car aren't showing any wear.

My take on seat covers (I know, you didn't ask) is "who are you saving them for ... ??"

I used seat covers on my first Lancer. Pretty sure they cause more wear than there would have been without them.

You're not supposed to put non-skid on the back of them.
