See you soon!

Roughly how long does it take to complete option 2 with a factory condition car?

Cheers

Cheers mate.

Please allow up to 5 hours if needed. Usually takes about 3 hours for a wash, dry, tar and iron decon, clay if needed, IPA wipe and opti coat.

Could not recommend Frank @ brightshine more highly.

Opti coated my GT yesterday. Did a great job. He takes a lot of time and care.

A great service!

Hey guys, Frank came around and did my WRB BRZ yesterday (option 2 - full opticoat treatment) and i am really happy with the results

As you guys have probably read, Frank is a top bloke and i am really happy i found this thread and paid for his services then get ripped off from the other places i have spoken to.

The opticoat itself after application gives the clear the appearance that it is thicker almost, after i let it cure on the paintwork i hit it with some meguires quick detailer and the paint shone beautifully. Heres a few photos, enjoy :)

Frank @ BrightShine 09-06-2012 11:33 AM

Hey Calais,

Has it been Resprayed or original paint?

Any pre existing damage/swirling?

P.S - I'm guessing the car behind is your daily drive? :)

ok first off i wish that was my daily came out of the club and found it parked behind me so i took the oportunity for a photo.

um i think it has been resprayed on one side at the back but ive been told by acouple of people that its still factory paint all over so not 100% sure.

and isnt any large damage maybe a 1 or 2 chips but no more than that, and there is alittle bit of swirling, but its not that noticeable.

i'll have a proper look at it tomorrow to double check though

Hey mate, are you updating and keeping track of orders on this thread? Put down my order a few days ago but havent seen you update the schedule.

Would be nice for Frank to keep track of his work schedule over the next 6-8 months or so and help us all out.

davey90 09-11-2012 05:51 AM

Just got mine opti coated. Photos coming soon. Currently drying. xD

Have not got chance to take some pictures under sunshine. what a pity, try to do tomorrrow....

FT86_Zero 10-16-2012 11:53 AM

Forgot to give some formal comments on Frank's job.

I don't wanna tell long story. First thing first, Frank is a very nice guy with sense of humor, however, when he is working, he is so serious and attentive, he is not only focusing on big parts, also all the small details. He treats your car as his own car to get job done. He is willing to spend more time to get the most proper job done rather than just a standard work.

Frankly speaking, Frank is the man you can trust!:thumbsup::thumbsup:

Zero, is this group buy still running? I am interested but my delivery had been push out to Feb 2013. Option 2 is the one I like to choose. Location is Hills district. Thanks.

I remember at the time he was doing mine, people were calling him saying they were 6 months out and wanted to book him in. But his general answer was to just give him 7-14 days notice and he'll book you in.

Didn't sound like the forum offer had an expiry date but I guess that's up to him.

really nicely! Gave it another good wash the other day and still perfect with the beading and super easy to keep clean. I did somehow got a small scratch (very small) on the body kit skirting but it looks like the coating took most of the damage, so its doing its job. Definitely worth every cent
