I will contact you straightaway once I get my car hopefully by end of July, I believe most of us will do this Opti coat business with you for sure, option 2 will be perfect !!!!!

Had Opti-coat done by Frank on Saturday, and it looks amazing.
Don't have a fancy camera so must apologise for the photos, they do not do Frank's work justice.
I have to say that Frank did a terrific job to prep the paint (get rid of fine scratch marks, water spots), which is actually the bulk of the work, before applying the opti-coat. I would definitely recommend Frank, I don't know if you could find a cheaper deal, and importantly he does very good work!

Hi Sticky,

It doesn't matter mate, either way is fine. We only do the exterior of the glass and don't touch the inside.

Had my car OptiGuarded by Frank yesterday. He showed great attention to detail and if he could see an issue, he'd fix it.

The way I think about the OptiGuard process is 95% paint preparation, 5% OptiGuard application. It's really important to get the vehicle looking as good as it can before applying the OptiGuard, which effectively then locks that goodness in. And Frank never once gave me the impression he'd rather be lazy and save a few bucks or minutes of his time rather than doing a proper job. Recommended.

My only small suggestion would be thinking carefully about your intended washing and optiguard location to help him do the best job he can. I'm sure Frank can help guide you on this.

Hi Benoh,

Thank you for your interest. We only use Opti Guard as it is the version that gives you your warranty.

Opti Coat is the consumer grade product that is DIY. Basically a diluted version of Opti Guard. I would highly advise against this unless you have experience preparing duco to accept coatings/sealants and also experience in applying such products. Incorrect application will damage your clear coat.

From memory the DIY kit is $99.

Was actually thinking a clear bra around the whole car, but that shine and the way the water just falls right off it has got me!
