May not want whole kit now... TRD exhaust fits in stock bumper. cut bumper, fit trd garnishes, exhaust perfect. winrar.....
Would like to see a pic of the trd exhaust on a stock bumper if someone has seen one?
** Is anyone else interested in the TRD exhaust?

RZ86 06-30-2012 06:14 AM

I'd possibly be down for a TRD spoiler.

eleu2166 06-30-2012 08:05 AM

For those interested in a TRD start button, I'm looking into bringing back a few from the states when I head back to Sydney in September. If you don't mind not having the original packaging (I'll be putting them all together to save luggage space) then let me know an I'll see what I can do. Anyone else who hasn't registered their interest on the start button and want one let me know.

You'll have to wait till early October before you can pick them up from me. If your not from Sydney, I might be able to ship them to you myself when I'm back in Sydney. You'll obviously pay for the shipping :), should be cheap though since they should be light and small.

Trying to get them for around 185 AUD each.

Looks like we're getting the exact same setup (minus the wind deflectors for me). :) in white too. :)

Toyo R888 semi slick 215/R17 45 for track days

Nambo 07-01-2012 02:39 AM

Interested:
TRD Spoiler or
OEM Spoiler

Depending on the prices and whether or not there is a GB for either. Cheers OP!

Gir 07-01-2012 02:47 AM

TRD spoiler here.

Nardi330 07-01-2012 03:39 AM

Guys who are interested with only TRD spoiler and or other smallish items, try to enquire with import agents as they are likely to be cheaper than most local shops. Since there isn't duty/GST and postage is relatively cheap.

My 2 cents.

eleu2166 07-01-2012 10:45 AM

Have enquired with an import agent who can get us the TRD Spoiler for 28556 yen each (350 AUD as of right now) + shipping.

He can organise combined shipping to different states, but best we combine 3 items per shipment to avoid customs/duties tax.

Will start a new thread up soon with actual group buy details.

eleu2166 07-01-2012 11:37 AM

More details below:

25960yen for painted spoiler
Waiting on unpainted pricing

Totals including shipping (painted, estimates only)
33660yen (429 AUD)

For those who want to combine ship (State based), max 3 items:
93510yen (1192 AUD) / 398 AUD each

This is a pretty good deal, cheaper than the guys in NZ by a fair bit (465 AUD + shipping). Also cheaper than JDMConcept (600 AUD).

The guy I'm talking to is Jesse Streeter, an import agent in Japan.

Will be creating a new thread for this shortly.

MarkMash 07-01-2012 12:08 PM

sounds good to me - keep me in the loop

MarkMash 07-01-2012 12:09 PM

Cheers - Nardi, feel free to enlighten us :)

Brisbane peeps - let's get in on this :)

oh and to confirm, the white is the satin pearl white correct?

I don't want to order a white one and it comes out a standard flat white.

cheers again :)

Nardi330 07-01-2012 06:01 PM

The TRD spoiler needs 2 holes to be drilled and it's attached by tape and 2 plastic nuts (both supplied).

White one is pearl white, colour code 37J. I bought one of these.

Must you drill the holes? I don't exactly want to drill holes in my new car.

I was just about to email streeter for the price, guess I won't need to now.

unless u can take the bolt off which looks like plastic welded onto the spoiler or cut down the bolt, you will have to drill holes.

personally i don't want to either so maybe someone will figure something out.

Cutting the bolts off shouldn't be a problem at all. The spoiler would easily stay put using some decent double sided tape

Nardi330 07-01-2012 08:32 PM

I think the bolt is like a 6mm one. you might have to cut it right down to avoid it scratching the boot.

i might install after getting opti coat on the boot first.

Currently waiting on a final group buy pricing, will post details once I get it. As per my previous post, I'm currently looking into bringing back a few from the states when I head back to Sydney in September.

Nardi330 07-01-2012 09:38 PM

i have emailed EVL motorsports about possible group buy on KW V3.

once i have info i will post up here.

thanks

spiller 07-01-2012 10:42 PM

^^ excellent Nardi. I am interested in the KWs also and the TRD lip spoiler.

I have a question, im going to the US in 3 weeks on holiday, where can I purchase some TRD stuff while im there? In the past ive just walked into the dealership in Chicago and they stock quite a lot of stuff. Perhaps ill have to try them again unless anyone knows somewhere better?

Ask in the regional forums in the areas you're going to?

http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showt...506#post321506

lets see if we have better luck than EVL.

KamalT 07-19-2012 07:08 PM

Hi from what I have doing research the KW do not require a top mount. Also specified on their website

do you have a link from their website?

my understanding is you need to reuse your stock top mounts.

eleu2166 07-21-2012 02:16 AM

For those interested in the TRD front spoiler, I have two for sale in this thread (for Sydney folks):

Hey buddy if you want to go with KWs you can try these guys who are selling for $2365 including delivery from the US. I'm sure they would do it cheaper for a group buy
