Cup holder rubber insert?

Anyone find a cup holder insert that would hold a coffee mug more securely? I use a thermos brand coffee mug and it slides around in the cup holder and makes me very nervous. I havent been able to find any specifically for the FR-S. Does anyone know of something that would work?

How about trying a beer koozie? I think it might work for what you're looking for.

Thats a pretty good idea. I would rather it not be on the mug but its a quick fix for now.

Yeah rather that than hot coffee everywhere. You could look for OEM Toyota rubber cup inserts. I'm not sure if they'll fit exactly though. I had them for a RAV4 and thought it would be pretty close.

I saw that online but was not sure if it would fit.

Glue foam padding on the sides of the cupholder to match your coffee cup?

i was thinking of getting a small black rubber mat and cutting them to fit around the inside of the cupholder. Attached with double sided tape. But it needs to be the right color and thickness.

What about a magnet? That'd be pretty trick and could hold pretty tight... dunno, just throwing out ideas. I don't drink coffee so I always use the door one

Cut it down to fit and glue it into the cupholder. Then it's only on the mug when the mug is in the cupholder.

thats a good point also. I need to get a black one. I think you solved my problem. Just gonna use double sided tape so it can be removed with no damage.

that would be cool but not sure if it would actually hold it well.

I put some tool box mat in the bottom of the center console to keep things from sliding, maybe something like that?

I think the problem is that his thermos tumbler is too tall and wants to tumble right out of the cup holder and do a Jackson Pollock on his interior. Thus he needs something to wrap around it to secure it on all sides.
