Receiving car back from body shop
 

So my father being an ex master mechanic told me when I go to Calliber Collision that I should bring the Brz back to Subaru to make sure they are genuine parts and to ask for receipts of the parts they ordered.

FYI the body shop had my car since October and they had to send it off to the dealership to figure out why the push start wasn't working. They sent a tech from Subaru down after trying to replace the ecu.

I kinda feel bad having to bring it back to the dealership to do this. Is it necessary? And will the dealership be obligated to do it due to it taking the body'shop so long to finish

I work at Caliber. Just ask your rep from the body shop for the invoices and he should be able to give them to you. Your final bill estimate should also show a list of parts and you can compare it to that.
