Scion killed.. what will you do?
Hey guys, so I heard the news that Scion got the axe. I understand that our model and the two new Scions will be rolled into Toyota.
Are any of you guys changing your plans as far as what you are going to do with your cars? Anyone with any speculation on if our cars will be depreciated by all this? I have a leased 2014 FrS and will be free from it in 2017. I'm trying to get some information here to help me decide if I should buy it out at the end or lease the new Toyota version. My previous plan was to just lease the new Scion version in 2017. Thanks!:thanks: |

I certainly look forward to the airbag covers being cheap and available, I hope Toyota ops for the 86 logoed version

I for one, am changing my plans. More boost.

The changes to the 17 (if substantial) will have a far greater impact on the first gen values that the badging ever will. It isn't like Scion actually made the bloody things it is just a Toyota with some stick on plates. The only thing that is likely is the price of the 17s up just jumped a couple of thousand dollars for no real reason other than Toyota. |

thanks for the replies. Eh, don't care about locks or bans anymore, I don't come here much these days. At least I didn't just make a post "hey look scion closing lel".
I am hoping the new model does not jump in price though.. i did want to lease the new one :(.. may make me just buy this one out. |
