Will you keep your scion badges?

I know multiple people here have rebadged their FR-S with Toyota 86 badging. Now that Scion is ceased to exist how many of you are thinking otherwise?

I'm collecting Scion badges.

Switched mine over to Toyota/Trueno lettering after a few months of ownership. Don't plan to change.

86geek 02-03-2016 01:02 PM

cost too much to buy those Toyota badges....i'm practical so didn't feel the need to remove OEM badges.

KR-S 02-03-2016 01:08 PM

I'm keeping them. They just won't be on the car.

Mr.Impreza 02-03-2016 01:08 PM

I switched mine a few months after buying the car.

These poll options are whack. There's no option for "no, I'm going to change them"... lol.

RichardsFRS 02-03-2016 01:25 PM

Yes on my car. My XB never let me or my in-laws down in over a decade so yes, I'm loyal and the badges will remain part of my homage

At the end of the day, no matter how you cover up your branding you are driving a Scion. Get rid of your shame and spend that money on more important things, like an armrest ;)

It's still a part of the 86 family so I have had fun adding little 86 trinkets to the car, but haven't wasted my time trying to make it something it just isn't.

But at the end of the day, to each their own

Except it is a Toyota. Look at your registration. It's a Toyota Scion FR-S. So you can't say it isn't a Toyota, because legally... it is.

They never bothered me since locally there was really no stigma attached to Scion. In fact it is considered something weird and exotic by many in the general public. That will just increase now.
