I had a 91 Geo Metro convert! It was lowered on coil overs, 14 inch rims, ricer front and rear bumpers, all blacked out lights, was painted dark green/teal and put out whopping 70 hp. It was a blast to drive and I had all sorts of people think it was some strange exotic. It would also probably kick any stock twin's ass in a straight line (If you could anticipate the torque steer and keep it in a straight line).

I hope not due to the fact that I'm gonna buy another one in a year or so but I bet you're right

Every time I read Youtube comments, I want to bash my head in at the idiocy that those users display with every comment they make with their mouth. Rarely are Youtube comments ever civilized.

Interesting then that Scion's are some of most modded cars by dollar amount spent per car then right? There's an interview with an Executive at Scion from around the 2013 launch on youtube where he discusses this a little. Basically saying that Scion owners spend more money in the aftermarket than owners of any other make by quite a margin. Of course they could be talking about decals from Autozone, but I doubt that cheap stuff would add up to enough $$ to make this a strategy to build a brand on.

So I kinda have a strange question. Does anyone think any twin sold under scion will be worth more? I would like to think yes but seeing as how scion is wel..... not anything cool reality is saying no, thoughts?

When I lived in Japan (10 years ago) they were. They badged all of their cars as "Toyota" and just gave us lucky suckers a fancier name so they could charge more.

It will not make them worth a penny more. It is just a badge. The car has not gone away the company has.

Plus the resale value of the FR-S seems to be tanking anyway, at least in the year since I got my second one used.

Stopped by my Scion dealer on the way home and as everyone had guessed their remodel was with the death of Scion in mind. They went from a huge Scion dealership to a Toyota dealership with a small Scion showroom on the side. (Like most dealerships)

After talking a bit it seems prices are going to stay the same through the 2017 model but after that there will likely be a significant price bump once Toyota does their thing. It's looking like Toyota FR-S badging for the U.S. as well.
