@Hachiroku, you might want to fix the banner on the homepage.

They are far worse. Every time I read Youtube comments, I want to bash my head in at the idiocy that those users display with every comment they make with their mouth. Rarely are Youtube comments ever civilized. Facebook comments are a very close second. |

Imgur is up there with that Reddit seems pretty civilized |

This thread is turning hilarious!
There is a team at Toyota reading this right now and laughing their asses off. The whole rest of the world says "Meh so what?" while the US car culture burns. This sort of thing happens all the time. It is called "business". How do you think poor Jeep guys feel? Their cars have been through 4 different companies over the years. NOTHING changes except some badges, some document logos and the sign at the Dealerships (and hopefully some options if they don't make the 17s+ hideous). OK back to worrying if you can get parts, planning your retirements on your rare collectors cars increased value and analyzing the declining sales with no real data to work with. |

Everyone knows that real Scion badges gets you all the real Instagram followerz. |
I'm just here because @Itchytaco (spelling?) locked my thread

It's the ADMIN's thread just saying.

The majority of this thread is full of people who despise Scion and are celebrating at the end of aesthetically awful concepts and cringeworthy ads. Case in point: [ame="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7IEtvWPiw8g"]Eddie Huang Lowrider Scion iA Walkaround (Scion) - YouTube[/ame] |

Ya that wasn't directed to everybody. The ones that seem to think the car is now gone, rare, valuable or in any way changed however... |
Can someone please tell my why I read this entire thread?

Apparently it will still be called the 'FRS' http://japanesenostalgiccar.com/2016...e-toyota-fr-s/ .
|
Good, always saw scion as the poser brand that attracted people that didn't know jack sh1t about cars. besides frs of course.

Those that rebadged everything and kept the FR-S badge on will blend right in |
Lets scrap Lexus too and have them all branded as TOYOTA.

So I kinda have a strange question. Does anyone think any twin sold under scion will be worth more? I would like to think yes but seeing as how scion is wel..... not anything cool reality is saying no, thoughts?

It will not make them worth a penny more. It is just a badge. The car has not gone away the company has. |
Plus the resale value of the FR-S seems to be tanking anyway, at least in the year since I got my second one used.
|
Stopped by my Scion dealer on the way home and as everyone had guessed their remodel was with the death of Scion in mind. They went from a huge Scion dealership to a Toyota dealership with a small Scion showroom on the side. (Like most dealerships)
After talking a bit it seems prices are going to stay the same through the 2017 model but after that there will likely be a significant price bump once Toyota does their thing. It's looking like Toyota FR-S badging for the U.S. as well. |
