I'm also happy to see Scion go. In 2003/4 I was really excited to see it come, but it seemed they started running long in the tooth by the time the second xB came around; they were already out of touch with "the youth market." Making the ZN6 a Scion was a decent move by Toyota to breathe some life into the brand where it existed, but one car wasn't going to save a brand. |

not sure, I didn't get my car till middle of summer. I do remember Subaru dealerships marked up the price on the BRZ |

I'm curious if this will affect the aftermarket parts industry or not?

Women who think the car is "cute?" If you're at least some-what automotive intelligent, you'll know straight off the bat there's nothing else to consider given the same criteria that the car was essentially born from. Power was the last priority on the list when this car was created. This is like asking someone looking for a compact truck like a Ranger/Frontier why they didn't buy a Cummins Ram 2500. Sure, they're both trucks, but completely different level and intentions. |

I'm a little disappointed. Only because I was hoping the next Supra would be a Scion and then I could drink the tears of everyone who got so pissed off about it. :D
Totally expected though. Surprised it wasn't sooner. |

Application data for the FR-S/BRZ used to look like this: 4/12- Now it will look like this: 4/12- /16 |

This car is just getting out of warranty and hitting 2nd gen owners - the aftermarket support will remain strong for quite some time. Like the S2k.

Will Toyota still have parts for Scions? Like oil filters and shit? Or will we go the way of Spiker?
God I hope you know I'm kidding. |
Scion is the toyota version of Saturn.
|
Apparently changing a badge on a car changes the whole infrastructure of said vehicle and is a complete redesign.

Whereas Scion had the iM econobox, small sedan (iA), medium coupe (tC), announced CUV (CH-R or whatever they called it) and small sports car (FR-S). Oh...wait...:bonk: Quote:
