Probably dealer modded dollars he was talking about. There is a crap load of things you can buy for all the Scions (except the FRS but it was never a real "Scion" from day one)

I wish I had options when I bought my FRS, hell I had to wait almost 2 weeks for my STOCK head unit to come in.

I have a 2008 tC (bought new) and that thing is built like a tank (it's slow but it's typical Toyota reliability).

It's getting just as old as people whining for more powaa.

Death to glow in the dark emblems, what's not to celebrate?

In fact, Toyota should provide emblems swaps to all past FRS owners free of charge.

so should Subaru change badges too? LMaO!
Seriously dude why would they swap badges! That would cost tons of $$$ to do. Toyota isn't about giving freebies unless there is some recall on their cars.

peeps should not be so worried bout losing the Scion brand. it's like peeps got their bvd's all bunched up in their okole's (< lookup that word) over this whole Scion axed.:popcorn::popcorn::lol::lol::lol:

I wonder what the implications are for the Scion Racing program.

Watch in a couple of years the cool kids will be swapping their Toyota badges for Scion badges on their next gen Toyota FRS

Hey, it matters to some people.

I, for one, didn't really like to be associated with a brand that's completely a marketing gimmick. Especially when the marketing gimmick is "our cars are cool and hip" and "if you don't know shit about cars but want to look cool buy a scion".

However, I could deal with that, because a brand is just a brand and it's still truly a Toyota. I also don't really care what other people think; it was more of a choice not to buy Scion based on personal principle.

What put the nail in the coffin and had me looking at the BRZ as a first priority instead is the monotrim philosophy of Scion. I plan to keep this car for a long time, so I'd gladly shell out the extra 2 grand for the HIDs, climate control, rear spoiler, and better seats. Being keyless is neat too. The two things I like better about the FRS are the front design and the tachometer being easier to read. Red on white is pretty distinct compared to everything orange. I've found that the front of the BRZ has grown on me though. Every car designer is making their cars aggressive and angry so it's starting to look silly and like a fad.

A personal gripe that they may or may not change is the naming of the model as "FRS". It clashes with the "GT86" on the fender flares.

I was going to buy a new BRZ when the 2017 MY details were revealed but now it seems I have to wait a bit to see if Toyota will bring in the GT86 as a trim.

Maybe I should just say fuck it and go buy a BRZ tomorrow and be done with all this.

The under 1% that had glow in the dark emblems?
