Will Toyota still have parts for Scions? Like oil filters and shit? Or will we go the way of Spiker?

God I hope you know I'm kidding.

Scion is the toyota version of Saturn.

Apparently changing a badge on a car changes the whole infrastructure of said vehicle and is a complete redesign.

i think it will be Toyota FR-S (North America) and keep GT86 else where...same base model...hopefully you can actually add trim levels this time around.

More importantly, now the Scion 'pure pricing' garbage goes away so you can negotiate the price... who wants to bet MSRP is about to jump? :I

As stated the line up stays just the badges change.

So they moved the headstones... but they didn't move the bodies!

Your average person would have a tough time naming 3 models - nevermind the newer ones. I dont think their nomenclature helped. Toyota is a great brand, everyone would have been prouder to announce they own a toyota than a scion. This will help them.

Yes, the 3 that @chulooz said people could name. :D

With the exception of the Sky, they hadn't really put out anything interesting. I mean, look at their lineup before shutting down: CUV/Econobox (Vue), small sedan/hatchback (Astra), medium Sedan (Aura), large SUV (Outlook), small sporty car (Sky)

Whereas Scion had the iM econobox, small sedan (iA), medium coupe (tC), announced CUV (CH-R or whatever they called it) and small sports car (FR-S).

Oh...wait...:bonk:

I had a 91 Geo Metro convert! It was lowered on coil overs, 14 inch rims, ricer front and rear bumpers, all blacked out lights, was painted dark green/teal and put out whopping 70 hp. It was a blast to drive and I had all sorts of people think it was some strange exotic. It would also probably kick any stock twin's ass in a straight line (If you could anticipate the torque steer and keep it in a straight line).

I hope not due to the fact that I'm gonna buy another one in a year or so but I bet you're right
