South Bay Wheel Stud Replacement?
Wheel stud broke off probably 5000 miles ago, lol. Need to get it replaced before I throw on 25mm spacers.
Anyone got a recommendation around the South Bay? I live in SJ if that helps. |
Any place that does auto service really. It's a super simple and easy job.

I know Exact Motorsports has a press; they should be able to handle it.

As others have mentioned, any local auto mechanic shop can easily replace it.
If you have some time and basic tools, you could also replace it yourself. Front - Front Wheel Stud Replacement - Dave-ROR Rear - Rear Wheel Stud Replacement - Dave-ROR If you're feeling lazy and don't want to remove the hub, simply hammer the stud out, place the new one in, pull it through with a nut/washer. Read the posts in the linked threads though, lots of good information. |
If doing stock, you can do it in the driveway without taking the hubs off with a $10 Harbor Freight tool. I did ARPs and took the hubs off and used a press; it was still not a huge job.
