Third Brake Light / Rear Foglight.
Hey so I've been browsing like every thread cause I swore I seen it before, but there was a vendor selling the rear fog light / third brake light mod WITH the flashing brake light. Where if you broke, it would flash like three times and then stay on when braking. Was wondering if anyone knew if that mod was still available or where i can get that or how to achieve that. I saw it on another car driving and thought it was pretty dope.

All you have to do is click on a link (phastek) for instance...and choose the F1 style brakelight. http://www.phasteksport.com/2013-Sci...z-rear-fog.htm Or amazon it. Google. Works wonders. |
The Valenti bumper light can do the same, you just have to rewire it. I've got the V as a third light and the triangle as a flashing brake.

iJDMToy sells a similiar kit here: http://store.ijdmtoy.com/Scion-FR-S-...Y-p/75-224.htm . The DIY is here: http://store.ijdmtoy.com/Scion-FR-S-...tion-a/572.htm In the end, they both do this: [ame="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lEaaDZyi67c"]FNA Automotive fog light kit 3 for scion FRS - YouTube[/ame] |
It the mod bargain Valenti reverse or just the regular Valenti reverse light. Modbargin version: Red light comes on only when you hit the brakes. Regular Valenti: Red light stays and flashes 3 times when you step on the brakes and go to solid red.

There's also this module which is pretty cool: http://www.kahtec.com/

Too complicated for me :(

Just get flasher module. Super easy and life $15. Think it's called "brake flasher" or "f1 brake light" on Amazon

I just did my own setup, with a standard turn signal flasher. It flashes the entire time the brakes are on though. I tried one of the blink 3x then solid flashers I got online, but I wasn't happy with how it worked...too fast, you couldn't see the flashes.
