I stayed up all night playing the beta and I'm sold. The PvP PvE mix is great, the graphics are amazing (even on Xbone), and the story feels intriguing but not restricting. As far as I can tell, Ubi will not be repeating Destiny's mistakes.

Oh shit! The beta is here? Got dang, I know what I'm doing with my weekend.

Edit: I'd like to mention I pre-ordered this solely on a suggestion from some people I play Destiny with. Curious to see what I paid for.

Going to download beta tonight and jump into this tomorrow (PS4). I'm a day one Destiny player who has never left...thinking The Division may be replacing Destiny in my console once March comes along.

I didn't realize the beta was out either. I'm excited to try it as I love tom clancy games and was hyped back when it was first announced but i watched a few streams from the alpha and it looked really lack luster. I could care less about the graphics (i think they are definitely good enough) but the gameplay looked very repetitive.

I played the Alpha, and it was definitely a rough cut, but the beta is much more polished and full of things to do. The alpha didn't have many activities or fight encounters, but now it feels much more like a struggle to make it through the cities.

It is much more fluid and natural feeling now that just running point to point to kill a few people/save a hostage. Now you get the sense of being a very small force in the city and having to deal with things both directly and indirectly affecting you. You can now ask yourself if breaking up two looters is worth your time or if you should just carry on and help stop a full scale riot.

Plus, no loading screens really adds to the experience! :thumbup:

Going to hopefully sit down this weekend and spend a couple minutes and see if the FPS controls make me smile or cringe.

What a bunch of assholes! I didn't even pre-order, I just registered for the beta, and surprise-surprise I got a code. No need to game the system when it isn't rigged against you.
