Custom supercharger?
1 Attachment(s)
I know it wouldn't be cost effective, but hypothetically could a system be designed to take advantage of the layout of the engine? You've got the throttle body, and the belt drive right in front.
Many of us are looking to reduce the torque dip, and add a little more toque/hp. Say 200 WHP. Most S/Cs are inter cooled so have piping going all over the place, or from front to back. The cow worth is the only one with the pulley and intake in the front. But then it's $6500. Anyway, this is just a thought experiment, nothing more. :bonk: |
Cool story bro!
One word. Packaging. |
I don't know what you mean by intake and pulley on the front. The Cosworth doesn't have it's intake/throttle body on the front side.

Anyways, I don't understand the point of this question; all of the positive displacement superchargers replace the intake manifold, so the throttle body can go wherever is convenient. |
So like this, basically?

Experiment failed.

Harrop and edelbrock check your boxes, and they aren't 6500 bucks.

Yea I don't get it. Sprintex, harrop, and edelbrock already do all those things.

Liquid to air intercooler solves piping problem
