I wouldn't mind a tire with a subtle line of color along the sidewall, kinda like some bike tires. But holy shit that is atrocious. I'm sure some show car will roll with it and look nice, but pleaseeee I hope no one puts that on a DD

At $100 for a set + install, I might. Maybe not for the FR-S, but for the Fiat 500. Orange to match the car's color.

I'd go for a nice extreme performance summer whitewall.

Imho black tires with white lettering = better looks then colored tires.

I think he means because no pictures embed into the post. I actually kind of agree if that's what he's getting at. Mostly because I'm on the schools WiFi, and get a nice little page telling me it's blocked.

I'm really not looking for colored tires, as I don't have the money for them. I just thought it would be fun if I did have the money to put a set on the car to play with people's minds a bit, especially some in my local clubs. It would be great fun to see how they do or do not hold up to track driving. I also thought this would be a fun discussion topic.

It did occur to me that I might have to change my handle, or at least my signature if I bought a set. Maybe I could buy the red colored tires AND use the magic sparkle dust. And then maybe I could find a girl to go with me and wear matching red lipstick and sparkle lip gloss.

I don't hate it. They're kinda like skateboard wheels. The red ones work because they match the red accents inside.

These colored tires have been out for almost 10 years. They end up being hard to clean so not many are sold.

Anyone else think of GTA V when this came up?

If they did this that would be pretty cool I suppose.

Your right cause I run mad boost like at least 50 psi and when my engine blows I want it to be Red and White like the Japanese flag

Kuhmo tire makes the colored smoke tires. The other tires look like junk. Plus, the black in tires adds hardness or longevity. It's only money!!! Smoke em if ya got em!
