Gloss Carbon Fiber or non gloss

I'm planning to wrap my hood and trunk of my car in 2 weeks but can't decide what I want. so I want your opinion. I went to the shop and they showed me two carbon fiber wraps gloss and non gloss. I like both but gotta choose one that fits my car I have the pearl white FRS/GT86 btw..not getting a legit carbon fiber hood and trunk not spending alot of money on a hood and trunk if I can just wrap it half the price. :) I'm leaning towards gloss because the shine...

If your spending half the price on wrap you may as well get the real thing lol!!

If I were you I would not wrap either. Just save your money for something else. Just my $0.02 CAD so I guess that works out to about $0.005 American and my opinion is now invalid due the the awful Canadian to US opinion exchange rate

Go with the gloss. I wrapped a few of my interior pieces in gloss black "TechArt" carbon fiber vinyl and it looks so close to the real deal. Real carbon fiber is outrageously expensive (with good reason) but for aesthetics you would be stupid not to go with just a wrap.

which shop you're going?
post some pics after.

I want to do the interior too but hold off after the wrap is done and tints. And its does look real in the gloss.

You may want to try to do it yourself? It really is not too difficult. The key is throwing heat to the vinyl with a heat gun to make it extremely pliable to apply it to curved surfaces. Idk what it will cost for you but I've heard some stupid high installation prices for exterior wraps.. just my $0.02

I can't do it myself..I sucked at art and crafts back in middle school and High School. lol

lol it just takes patience, no talent needed.. less frustrating to just pay for it though
