Lucas Slick Mist speed wax (liquid spray)

A fellow charger driver recommended me this product (Lucas Slick Mist) and I have to say, "it's amazing!!~! show room shine and oily as heck! but also watery."

I totally recommend this product!

KEY BENEFITS

Premium Paint Gloss Intensifier
Great for Cars, Trucks, Boats, and Airplanes
Shines and Protects in One Easy Application
Excellent Results on Chrome, Glass and Vinyl Decals
Use on Wet or Dry Surfaces
Quick and Easy
Ease of Application
I've tried Meguiar's, Mothers, Turtle, and Armor all.

Hands down, Lucas Slick Mist is the thinnest, but nicest product! The shine is nice and lasts about 3 weeks under normal cool temperatures and 2 weeks approx with rain. It smells like bubblegum and a pleasure to use.

I'll get pics tomorrow if it's dry out and good light for pics.

I give Meguiars wax a 8/10, Mother's a 7/10, 7/10 Armor All, Turtle a 8/10 but its thick and stinky and Lucas a 9/10. There is no product for quick wax i'd give a 10/10 atm.

bam!

p.s. this is not 'REAL' wax! I have my car waxed with carnauba. This is what I use as a detailer for shine and 'xtra' protection aka mini wax or lazy man's wax!

+1 for Lucas Slick Mist! I've been using it since last spring and absolutely love the stuff!

One word of advice though...If you have kids that still live at home and have their own car, don't let them know about this stuff or you'll always have an empty bottle! :(

I overuse it all the time and end up with streaks in sun :(

Still it's amazing fun to spray!

oh my fucking god.

I haven't had a taste of these in over... 10-15 years now. My uncle used to buy these for me all the time. None of the Mexican stores around my neighborhood sells these. :(

To provide relevance toward the thread, I'll try this out once the Turtle Wax spray runs out. I dunno why you think its stinky, I love the smell. :P

Any 100% cotton or microfiber. I buy mine from Orilleys. Red and gray ones. Cost about $7 for 3 or 4.

Today i washed my car and use Lucas slick mist. And i noticed a slighty more shine, but im more interested the UV protection. The car is hot lava, so as long the car is washed will shine anyway. But i give a plus, specially the candy scent

hmm i might try it later

I leave a bit of wetness and spray it right away or use a humid/wet towel and dry car as im applying spray.

BTW, in terms of protection i'd make sure car is waxed beforehand.

The Lucas spray is just a shine enhancer as i've come to find. I called Lucas down in LA and they stated its more of a detailer than a 'wax,' but can be used any way I like... lol

Still waiting for sunny day so i can grab pics.

Hmm.. i dont feel confortable waxing before Spray wax, i clay bar before wax with Mothers, then wax it. Later, can i use Lucas? I mean, too much products on the surface

LoL never (IMHO) use spray wax as your only protector. I use a carnauba paste first like this http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/...lL._SY355_.jpg

Then 24hrs later I use a spray wax..... i know wax removes wax but meh. I use it (spray wax) every time I wash too. If I can feel the wax is in good shape or just bored, then I dont use the spray wax and instead use the quick detailer aka Lucas. I also use it after bird poo or someone leaves oily fingerprints.

Lucas makes windows shiny too and I love it so i use it there weekly.

You can use Lucas like 24hrs or so after clay and wax. Let the wax settle in first imo. Oh another thing is you can spray Lucas into bucket of water with soap (if car not too dirty) and mix it. Last 2 washes I put a cup or two into my yellow wax and wash Meguiar's soap bucket and washed normally.

Once it dries, it looks nice and shiny! No smears!

^^^^^^^Above is whats worked for me the most, and because of that I will continue to do that. If one day I dislike it, then i'll change it, so dont take it as the only correct or only way to do anything hehe
