Winter track events in Ontario?
 

Well, we have plenty of options when it comes down to track days in the summer, but since half of the year is winter, where can we get some winter fun?

Are you guys aware of any frozen lake events, or snow driving events that runs on a bring your own car basis in Ontario? thanks!

The MCO in Ottawa runs some snow-cross events in the winter.

TMP runs all winter. This Sunday is open lapping from 11am-4pm.

Brzworld is hosting a winter track day next month or March. Keep for a lookout, other than that Cayuga has Sunday open track days.

They really do winter lapping!

Look up Sport Tech performance, they ran some lapping on a "track" made on a frozen lake last winter, probably doing something similar if the lake is frozen enough this winter.

Friend was at one at the DDT on Jan 10... sigh, I need to pay more attention to these, they had a lot of snow there.

I do ice racing in Minden (2 hours from Toronto).

Buy a $500 car, do a few prep items, go wheel to wheel racing for $85 (saturday, 5 lap practise, 15 lap qualifier, 2x 15 lap racing), $55 (sunday, 5 lap practise, 2 x 15 lap racing)
