I had no choice cutting mine, my car is DD and I had to be at work the next day. I couldn't run standard height and had to chop 2 inches. No bottoming out, no hitting bumpstops, ride is exactly the same as standard, no apocalypse, the world didn't end....we used to do this all the time back in the day and found it to be completely safe within practical limits, of course. I think maybe people are just a little soft these days, like their springs lol

I didn't touch the bumpstops, didn't need to. The rest of the car is bagged, I had a tear in the front left and I need my car every day and didn't have access to any other solution. I had to chop the spring because obviously I need the front too ride level, but standard height for the bags makes them way too hard so lowering it allowed me to run low pressures on the bags and keep everything level, it actually rides and handles extremely well Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
