Number plate holder

Hey guys with cars,

You able to tell us the size of the holders.
If the holder can be removed
And a close up of the front holder to see how much of the holder is exposed once plate is attached.

Cheers!!!

U have standard sized or slimline?

Standard size should cover it with slimline the holder is exposed a little on the bottom.

There are 4 nuts to hold the holder onto the bumper.

With pic, u can check out some of the members whose cars are delivered.

I have gone with PPQ Flexi Plates
291mm x 135mm
No PreDrilled holes.

Hoping someone might have a picture of a car with no plates on it, so i can see how i am going to mount it... If the holder can be removed I might just wip up my own holder.

do we know if the plate holders come pre attached?

i gave instructions for my dealer to not attach the plates or plate holders to my car.
i dont want holes in my brand new front bar...

anyone else order theirs with no front plate? or instructions to not drill or mount anything to the car.

DriftEightSix 06-27-2012 08:02 PM

I asked for.this but they are done when the car is built only USA cars come without the holder.

Surok 06-27-2012 08:07 PM

your shitting me... they dont deliver bloody klugers with plate holders.. but they factory ruin their best sports car...

DriftEightSix 06-27-2012 08:09 PM

Yeah sorry :(.

I double checked with my dealer.

Xauterus 06-27-2012 08:17 PM

I will change mine to standard size then.

Can I ask why you guys are so critical of 2 holes in the bumper to mount a (mandatory) numberplate? I just dont see why its a big issue.

DriftEightSix 06-27-2012 09:16 PM

Because it looks ugly... and I would like to position the holder myself one that would.be perfect size for my plates.

I'm not sure, just taking a shot in the dark. But judging by Ravine's GTS the front looks removable. i'm sure there is a way... If you are thinking about changing the front lip or whole body kit (say, if you want to put TRD body parts on), hopefully it won't be there on the new lip or body kit. If that made any sense...

the holder is held on by 4 nuts. it looks removable but can't confirm until someone tried.
