The Biggest Bang for the Buck
 

So gonna come across a bit of cash nothing more then $1300. Sadly money has been going into payments and insurance, waiting to finally get a lower rate on both but basically wanted to see how i can stretch that amount for the best mods. Was thinking exhaust (not sure what brand), I'm sure i can install myself but what else that doesn't go over the 1300 budget? any idea's would be great! Please no eBay mods lol need this to last me till i re finance :thumbs:

Better tires (If you're stock) and drop in filter (Only if you wanna upgrade the intake). Also what do you wanna do with the car? Is it only a Daily Driver? Spirit driving? Track? etc. Let us know what you plan on doing with the car.

Tires and camber bolts with a proper alignment is what I would recommend for better handling. $1300 wont get you much get up and go but a tune will help a bit.

If you want it to go faster theres always Header and Openflash Tablet.

Yeah, the most dramatic change you can do to the car would be tires and usually the first change. I'd recommend a good set of summer tires. Applies towards both track and spirited driving.

lowering springs (prokit, rce yellow) used $130-180
alignment $80-120 (-1.5F, probably will settle at -1.0R)

Thats my pick and what I did

For me, the best bang for the buck "mod" was just to finally make the switch to 93 octane (while still on stock tune). Smoothed out the torque dip, especially in hot humid weather where with 91 octane was more like a torque abyss. I wish they wrote the recommended fuel on the gas cap instead some obscure ass section of the manual lol.

But for $1300 I'd probably just get lowering springs, tint and HIDs first to make it look better. I'd also get the drop in filter cuz its a cheap performance mod. Then I'd probably save the rest towards upgraded rims/tires in the future

My first ~$1300 went to camber bolts, brake pads/fluid, tires, alignment and then camber plates after that (so a touch under $2k). IMO the camber was more valuable than the tires for HPDE and AutoX (and the brake pads were a must), don't chuck your OEM tires prematurely, use them up, you already paid for them.

lmao sorry for not replying, work :/ also found that i might get a catback with a pully kit from perrin performance, best way i see stretching the money so far, as far as tires, looking for michelin pilots (of course) but wanna get those when i have the rims financed with them. Also heard a switch to e85 would be best, though don't really know the type of setup if any you need for it
