Wahooing from the Tesla fan boys is sooooo sad. The thing is really bad. It looks like flat sheet metal is just stuck together in angular pieces. I guess that probably keeps the price down:

Omg yes. I would have been the only one ooooing and awwwwing in horror or horribly laughing my ass off, as if it was a joke. No shit, I half expected them to roll that thing off stage and bring out the real truck with paint that wouldn't survive the demo, so they used that boxy crap thing.

Silver lining:

At least the truck will survive the vandalism and graffiti this design will inspire. Maybe Elon is more of a realist than we give him credit for.

The Cyber Truck might be the ideal work truck (rugged and functional), but there is a huge shift towards buying luxury editions of trucks, and this thing just missed the mark with the design. I would buy a Rivian over this any day. I’m sure Rivian’s CEOs were watching this reveal with wet palms and white knuckles only to finish it with high fives.

The fact that somebody actually sat there and thought “This looks great! People are going to love this” is incredible.

I don't even understand how it is a truck thats going to take away the F-150 fanbase. I didn't see a functional bed on the thing, looked more like an even uglier Aztek.
