Nate's 2014 BRZ Limited

I ordered my 2014 Subaru BRZ Limited along with a 2014 Subaru Forester XT Touring from Clint and the guys at Heuberger Subaru. All I have to date are the VONs but the VINs should be released soon.

At this point my plans for my BRZ are minimal:

1) JDM exhaust Tips - (Installed)
2) Weathertech Floorliner Digitalfit and Cargo Liner - (Installed)
3) Window Tint - (Installed)
4) Rearview Camera - (Installed)
5) Perrin Inlet Hose (Black) - (Installed)
6) UltraGauge - (Installed)
7) Nexus 7 (2013) and GT86Mounts w/Torque App. - (Installed)
8) Rally Armor Mud Flaps - BLK/GRY - (Installed)
9) BEATSONIC Shark Fin (SWP) - (Installed)
10) GrimmSpeed BRZ/FRS Pulley Cover (BLK) - (Installed)
11) Dash Cam - (Intstalled)
12) Cusco Front Strut Bar w/ Master Cylinder Brace - (Installed)
13) Genome Tuning Gas Strut Bar - (Installed)

At this point I have no other plans for my BRZ as it will be my DD and keep unnecessary miles off of the GT-R.

I did my homework prior to purchasing this car. I needed a DD that was fun/sexy/got good MPGs but that didn't break the bank for it's purchasing price. The BRZ was my ONLY choice after looking at a laundry list of different cars. In the end it was the over engineering of performance and safety that won me over.

My favorite things about this car are it's heritage and the history behind it. I love Initial D! :party0030:

I am still loving my BRZ. (03JUL14)

My car history:

My first car was a 280ZX - I think that it had 280,000 miles on it at the time of purchase. Keeping it running was a chore but when it ran it was a great car.

My first love was my 300ZX TT - I put R34 GT-R Wheel and Brakes and lots of other goodies from Japan on it. It was my 500RWHP Monster… It was a beast on the HWY. After getting pulled over for going triple digit speeds I swore to never street race again and bought an EVO VIII for AUTOX and Drag racing…

I have own a 2003 Subaru B4 Blitzen… I owned this car while I was stationed in Okinawa, Japan because I didn't want to buy a car that would be too hard to sell when I departed…

My second love was a 2004 EVO VIII - I bought this EVO from a friend It had 264/264 cams, Turbo back exhaust, and a Tune when I bought it. I added a new clutch, Snow Performance Methanol Injection Kit and a new tune and I loved it. The feel of launching an AWD car was like nothing I had ever experienced. I perfected my AWD launches and ran consistent 12.0's almost every run. I was beating a lot of the Suby and other EVOs that had more power than me because of my 1.5-1.6 60ft launches… It was awesome! lol…

I own a 2013 Nissan GT-R - Hands down the best car EVER!

I am in love with my 2014 (SWP) Subaru BRZ Limited. It was purchased to take on all of the DD duties in order to keep the miles off of my GT-R…

14 September 2013 - Ordered JDM Exhaust Tips purchased from Subaru in Okinawa, Japan.

After getting my car I installed without issue. What an esthetic difference some exhaust tips can make. :)

24 Sep 2013 - Ordered Floor Liner Digitalfit (PN 444821) http://www.weathertech.com/subaru/20...er-digitalfit/ and Cargo Liner (PN 40582) http://www.weathertech.com/subaru/20...subwoofer/no/# from WeatherTech.

After getting my car the first thing that I did was to install the weather tech mats. The fitment on these is amazing. This is money well spent for sure. :)

GT86 Mount, Nexus 7 (2013), and Torque App...

I was looking for a solution for my compulsive need to know everything about my car in realtime. I have been spoiled by the Gran Tourismo inspired display in my GT-R. I felt like there had to be an option for the BRZ and thus I started searching the internet for anything that would fit the bill. Finally I found the TORQUE App and read great reviews from thousands of happy TORQUE users. Unfortunately for me this App is only for android devices of which I had none. After not being able to find anything I finally gave in and bought a Nexus 7 32GB (2013) model from amazon. After receiving my Nexus 7 and an ELM 327 BT OBDII reader and getting it set up; I was pleased with the outcome - less the oh shit moment of... how do I mount this thing. After research I found that some people replaced their OEM head units with the Nexus 7 but unlike many BRZ owners I happen to like the OEM NAV unit. So for me that wasn't an option. After several hours of searching google I found GT86mounts http://www.gt86mounts.com/product.wm...-SHIPPING-.htm. I have installed my Nexus 7 with this mounting system with awesome results. I use my Nexus 7 for everything including YouTube, DISH Network Slingbox, Internet access, Torque App, and much more. I am very happy with this setup!

Thank you to Kyle who made these awesome mounts...

Cheers,

-Nate

Tinted my windows with 25% tint. I love how it came out. I think that SWP with dark tint makes this car POP!!! I may have to plasti dip the back letters in black"Subaru and BRZ" and see how that looks...

Well the time has come. After 8,000 miles of enjoyment I have decided to upgrade my BRZ. I went to an E85 ECUTEK flex fuel kit a couple Months ago and it was a huge improvement over stock. In the words of Jeramy Clarkson "I NEED MORE POWAHHHHHH!!!!!"

Please tune in as I document my build.

I'm looking at those JDM exhaust tips too but I've never done any extensive work on a car before, and I'm not inclined to spend a fortune on a new exhaust system currently. Do you know if they're pretty easy to install?
