IS 250 y32 3.73 LSD for FI application
Okay--I'm back in the 86 game after ~7 yrs & been doing multiple searches on this subject, but not seen the Y32 discussed.
My understanding is the the M85 IS300 diff is the best option--but they're relatively difficult to source, at least at this time. There are several Y32 LSDs available, but are they comparable to the M85 in terms of performance capability? I *believe* the M85s are Torsen-type diffs, but not sure on the Y32. The car is used for AutoX & DEs, primarily--so performance is important. TIA. |
It's not limited slip, so the change in gearing is essentially worthless

My understanding is that the diffs that came out of F-Sport IS250s were LSDs. Is this not correct?

Now getting conflicting info that none of the Y32 F-Sport diffs are LSD even though they're advertised as such?
