I'm super excited to see this!

Finally got tired of the fa20 piling issues?

So you didn't prepare the surfaces by removing paint? Did you remove the oil at least? Did you use a shielding gas on the inside of the pan? Considering the pan isn't structural and doesn't see high forces or pressures, you might be fine. Pics of the inside of the pan?

I would just be concerned with porosity on an oil container, but like I said, there is minimal risk of weld fracture from load, pressure, heat cycles, etc, so I’m sure your pressure test will work out.

Two intake cams. The BRZ computer needs both intake signals before it will fire and the exhaust signal can run from the crank since it pulses once every crank revolution.

What's your plan for the wiring/ecu(s)/CAN bus?

Stock,stock and stock.

Going to use the brz computer, switch some coils, do some wiring, swap some sensors, 8 port injectors and my 76mm throttle body.

Look familiar?

Attachment 184657

Attachment 184658

Ok, that's fucking incredible. Are you doing the tuning yourself?

Great work!

8 functional port injectors or 8 port injectors in the eyes of the BRZ computer?

So will you pass inspection if you get it working with the stock ecu? Or are you just track only these days? NC sucks for engine swaps on newer cars.

You're a mad man. Keep up the good work! FOR SCIENCE!

Where will the 4 extras be installed?

Giving up VTEC? I can't imagine the stock BRZ ECU can handle swapping cam profiles.

Just use a vtec killer setup. Then you're always in vtec
