2022 Subaru WRX Spy Shots via Car and Driver

Car and Driver got some shots of what apprears to be the upcoming WRX driving around. Two things I noticed:
  1. The tail light design used on the 2nd gen twins will be shared across some of Subaru's other models (similar designs were seen in previous Subaru concepts like the Viziv so this isn't surprising)
  2. That same striped white mustang that was seen with the camo'd 2nd gen twin appears to be running with this WRX

They are going with safety over performance. It sells better to the masses. I wouldn’t expect too much excitement, even with their sports sedan.

No WRX hatchback no care.

And this sedan version looks incredibly bland. Needs a lower roofline and wider stance.

Has anyone else noticed that all the spy shots between this, the new BRZ/86 have white mustangs in them?

im pretty sure the next WRX is going to look like the sedan version of the just redesigned Levorg.

I actually do like that nose. I guess the tail will be different anyway.
