This is very, very, shocking news honestly. Instead of the FR-S's becoming more valuable(if they every will) I think the TC's might. They are no longer making the TC. I think they're only bringing over the iA, iM, and FR-S.

Kind of surprising overall, seems like there are quite a few tc's in my area. Did anyone else notice on there plate renewal this year lists the frs's vehicle make as toyota? Seems at the very least Illinois has it this way.

That is the most difficult part to change. I was going to get the 86 badge from speedfactory but now with this news I will wait. Maybe if they get that 86 version of the wheel, I'll just buy it from the dealer! |

I wonder if new Toyota FR-S owner's will be willing to badge swap with the scion guys?
|
Also, does this mean the new RS2.0 will still be released as a scion? Kind of like a last hurah or will it be the first toyota FR-S?

I will now handle my Scion 10 Series book with cotton gloves. It is now a piece of automotive history.
|
I am also curious what they will be doing with the car.. They said they are stopping production of the scions on August 2016. And all cars with MY17 will be toyotas. Wasn't our car due for a facelift as well? Maybe they'll incorporate the new facelift with the new toyota cars that will be coming.
