Hi guys,

I spoke to a not so likable salesman at a Subaru dealer yesterday, and was told if I wanted to put in an order for a 2017 BRZ with Performance Package that the cars won't arrive until January.

Has anyone heard similar or conflicting information? I was hoping to wait until the cars were on the lots before buying one, but was told by a separate dealer that the BRZ needs to be ordered.

I would use autotrader to check available cars. There is one available in Troy for example.

I ordered a PP car and my order is showing January ship date and won't be received until February.

I've confirmed this with 2 friends that work at Subaru dealers. You won't see any PP cars until after the new year.

Not with the performance package. Dealers have the Premium and Limited models but the PP's since they aren't shipping until January.

I have an order (placed this past week) for a 2017 w/ PP and order ETA is indeed Feb 2017.

Ordered my car in September and January was the arrival date they gave me. Everything is still on schedule according to the dealer.

WOW! PP adds special wheels, Sachs dampers, and Brembo brakes for $1195. Good deal!

I've been waiting to get a BRZ for many years now so a few months wait won't bother me.

Same here. January seems to be the date for the first batch of orders.

Thanks for all the replies, guys! Very helpful! Maybe I'll test drive a Limited BRZ and if I like it place the order for a Performance Package.

January is the shipping date,
Depending on your market area and where your particular car is received at port you may get it in January, February or even March. That is of course if there are no delays.

That's what I'm saying! Seems like a no brainer for the price :O

I preorder my BRZ with PP two weeks ago and the dealer told me ill be getting it late January 2017 that is a long wait.
