Original Post:
I have been drooling over the forums for about a month. Finally the opportunity came when I got a raise at work, so I decided to pull the trigger and actually got a good deal with $0 down, and $1000 off MSRP (Military). It has the Bespoke system, spoiler, tint, mudguards, and the "toyoguard".

I hope to dip the wheels until I can afford some Rotas. Not a big fan of the dual color stock wheels. Also hope to do some AutoX next year with my brother, who is big in the Mustang drag scene in the area, and he owns his own shop too.

My wife has been saying she wants to give me something for sacrificing so much for her and the kids, I just can't believe I have something this nice now. I wish everyone could be this fortunate. :thanks:

Congrats and thank you for your service!

So, how is the fitment on the spoiler?

Congrats on the raise and the ride!

Day 2 with the car, and I've already got 230 miles, all city (and back roads)! I'm coming from a van as a DD, and this thing feels like a go-cart. My wife loves it too, and she surprised me with how well she took back to the clutch.

I got a picture of my FR-S with some of the other cars at work. Looks the best IMHO, and I'm sure a lot of you will agree. :happy0180:

Ok Update!

Painted my wheels and calipers last night. I used plasti-dip on the wheels, and Duplicolor red caliper paint on the brakes. I really think this ties the whole color scheme of the car in IMO. Next up is some lowering springs (as soon as somebody buys my Bespoke HU). Also I plan on painting all the yellow caps, and plastic things in the engine bay red too. Yes I took the antenna off to, because I don't use the radio and I didn't like the look of the big stick poking out the top. Maybe once I'm not broke (there are two kids car seats in the back ATM) I can get a shark fin. :happy0180:

Nice job doing low cost but good appearance mods that have added to the classy look of the car.

Thanks, I haven't spent more than 15$ so far.

just plasti-dipping the wheels does a lot for white...I might have to steal this idea from you

nice work

Looks great. Will definitely do the same when I finally get an frs.

WhiteFR-S 10-07-2012 09:39 PM

looks fantastic!

Looks good so far. But all that plastic's/caps you painted in the engine bay was an overkill IMO. A few of them would've been nicer.

Yeah, lol thats what my brother said too. I just wasn't feelin' the yellow plastic when every other trim piece is red. Nothing alittle paint thinner/acetone/replacements can't fix.
