It’s not fused that I can see. The only component between the harness and the lcd is that diode. The one that was connected backwards popped the diode apart, it’s nearly two pieces. Two of the others got smoked when the harness melted. One screen looks like it survived. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
Today i learned that some people are acutally okay with my being weird on here and that's pretty cool. thanks.
also learned today that i'd rather be thought of as "off" and weird than of someone who just makes shit up about other people. |

I'd definitely prefer a "weird" troll (imo anyway) to a douche one. |

OR just buy a new one. OR Bubby suggests to take it off, lay it on its side and fill the area around where it's leaking with JB Weld - :iono: |

Today I learned 2 out of 3 is bad |
Today I learned that in Epic, if you cannot place orders on a BGzzname chart, you just make a new MRN and don't fuss with the erroneous record. Why fix things when we can work around the problem forever?

Because the record is created from an erncounter with another patient ( the mother) they need to use a "boarding" profile, which becomes the baby's record once they're set. Sometimes the coding in Epic gets stuck with the patient being a boarding mom, and it won't let you place orders for the baby, because it think it's a boarding mother still.... so rather than work with Epic ( vendor), they just leave the process broken and create a new medical record for the baby. TL;DR- Can't tell the parents they can leave with their baby until the computer says so. Computer says " no". Rather than fix, they tell the computer it's a different patient until it says " ok, you can go home" |
