Anyone have a Miata, preferably NA or NB?

There's one in my driveway, '94 but it's my son's track toy. Too small for me, the FR-S is a little more ogre friendly lol.

Had an 89 and a 91. 89 had a 1.8L swap and lightweight flywheel, both had mad dog harness/roll bar, Koni struts with H&R cup springs among several other handling mods on stock wheels and 200tw tires. The 1.8 with a lightweight flywheel roars and is probably the best daily driver car I've ever also autocrossed with.

Headrest speakers for life

I'm thinking about an NB or NC for my daughter. Probably a bad idea, but how are these things with crash safety?

They're one of the smallest cars on the road and they have no top. If crash safety is a concern, it's the one time that Miata is not the answer :D

Especially given how high vehicles are now, the crash zones are terrible. Most people's bumpers would be level with their heads. They are also likely to be driven on top of by an SUV if they get rear-ended. Yes I'm serious

I could see that, especially the luxo-boats folks drive around here in Westport, back to the drawing board!
