Anyone revise Perrin's BIGMAF CAI MAF scaling?

Hi all,

Thinking about purchasing the 3" intake from perrin and reading up / preparing to do some personal MAF scaling with @vgi tool and RomRaider.

Wondering if anyone has a more refined version than what Perrin released on their site? I've heard that people are still seeing +/-10% from the Perrin table.

Would be great to see any other tables out there that have been refined to use as a starting spot.

Thanks!

Their is sod all power in intakes over a drop in filter and cut off snorkel.

Sorry @steve99, not sure exactly what you're saying but I think it's along the lines of not much power available beyond drop in and snorkel? Totally get it, I'm mostly looking to run the perrin intake due to clearance issues - my oil cooler setup doesn't play nice with the stock box.

Edit: just googled "sod all" - first time ever encountering this phrase...the more you know!

Sorry its aussie slang :-)

yes the perrin scaling is not too good best to do your own using it as a base. just use the default settings in the vgi utility get the closed loop done first then open loop once the cl is dialled in.

@steve99 thanks Steve, CL looks fairly straight forward to log for (just a bunch of pulls) however, the list of logs for OL looks daunting (based on VGI notes) - any advice here on how best to complete OL for our platform?

Also checkout @jamesm posts about it almost 2 years ago. I did a scale way back only to confirm that the OEM scale was pretty close

@drewbot I think I've got a path forward on this, shoutout to @steve99 @vgi @Kodename47; I got schooled by them over the weekend reading through steve's MAF thread.
