https://bestcarweb.jp/news/scoop/535278

I doubt is that soon but news from bestcarweb.jp normally quite accurate.

May be in 2030?:iono:we

Bestcar is the opposite of accurate.

They throw everything at the wall and whatevers right doesn't get deleted when it comes true.

They also pushed the 86 convertible for the '15 model year...

Good to know but they were right on the GR Corolla, GR86 and the Ugly Crown render.

Hmm...

Hmm...

If you push every possible outcome and delete the ones that don't come true...

Best Car is in the top 5 WORST of the clickbaits. Sure they seem to get things right but it is usually AFTER the press releases from the actual manufacturer. The fiction they publish up to that point is what the other clickbaits play telephone with by repeating and adding onto.
Toyota has publicly stated an all electric lineup by 2035 so unless the "scoop" is for an EV (the link already doesn't work) then it is just more of their bullshit.

Just delete the second part of the doubled link prefix (https://) and the link will work.

@Tcoat definitely not EV renderings. Also, definitely not an improvement.

Not trying to give this article any credit, but it is interesting how this more or less coincides with the news break of the sudden direction shift Toyota is taking on EVs

https://www.reuters.com/business/aut...la-2022-10-24/

Honestly the first thing that was floating into my mind reading the above article yesterday AM was whether or how the new GR family was going to get through all of this.

It is a render made by some random dude with a made up backstory. The first view of this render was weeks ago.

fredzy 10-25-2022 03:25 PM

Oh yeah that's garbage for sure, as is likely all of it. I only found it remarkable because it coincided with that other news, but it came after they reported on the Reuters scoop anyhow.
