Putting a '18 86 bumper on a BRZ?
 

I'm buying a '13 BRZ soon and there is a small crack on the bumper so I'm thinking about upgrading it.

I've seen many threads on FRS upgrading to a 86 bumper or a older brz bumper to a newer one but never a brz to 86 is there a reason why?

Do I have to worry about gaps between the headlight and the 86 bumper cause I think the bumpers are actually shaped a little differently between the 86 and brz? What about the fog lights? Is there DRL in the brz headlights?

DRLs are integrated into the bumper of the 13 BRZ. You could just switch the signal for the DRLs to the C light for the bumper swap. The bumper will fit for sure. Here's what you need to keep in mind for the bumper swap

But I want to get a 86 bumper. The new Brz bumper is too similar to the old one. I don't mind buying the fog light kit but I want to know if that's necessary first.

I've bought a couple of Japanese magazines and it seems like the 86 is more popular than the BRZ for some reason. I also like the angry look better than the mustache.

Is there a gap that I have to worry about where the headlights are? If I were to use old brz headlights on a new 86 bumper?
