Remus Exhaust system to be released Late Winter/Early Spring for FRS/BRZ

Looks like we're getting some more exhaust options on the market! Remus has been the leader in exhaust manufacturing for some time now, often times winning several awards on a yearly basis as well. The following exhaust features, what I think to be the best pair of exhaust tips I've seen on this car yet:

Not only that but with the optional Racing tube that you can purchase as well, you'll also see some great power increases as well. Below are pictures of the optional racing tube, and a dyno of the pretty substantial power increase:

This system will be extremely hot, so stay tuned for more information!

Does the racing tube replace the over pipe/front pipe/mid pipe or just the over pipe and front pipe?

EDIT: Looking at it now, it's propbably just the mid pipe. pricing?

We're in the initial stages with these, so nothing has been confirmed as of yet. It's a longer tube, so more than likely it'll connect just behind the cat there. As more information gets released, we will pass it to the forums.

Def wasn't expecting that kind of sound with that kind of muffler.

We've officially sold out! Pre-orders are now being taken for the next shipment which comes in late June to mid July!

Sounds rattly like something is loose in the muffler packing. Don't care for it, but I'm sure it will appeal to someone.

Got an update with a new uploaded photo and a nice sound clip too:

Really Enjoy my Remus!

The racing tube on mine is a replacement for mid-pipe, and is a straight bolt on. Front pipe and cat still in place.

Racing pipe and Borla UEL headers dont seem to like eachother much (worked great with stock headers), and cause a terrible resonance. I reverted to oem mid-pipe with Remus muffler and Borla headers, sounds wonderfully menacing!

That's my car. Sound quality is due to iPhone & recording indoors mostly.

Exhaust's broken in now and sounds much better & richer. ;)

Just posted up a better sound clip of the Remus exhaust on my car. Sorry for cropping the actual exhaust out in the middle of the video but the sound is a lot better.

unresonated midpipe = raspy as hell

I don't notice the raspiness at all in day to day driving to be honest, or when I'm actually driving the car with the windows down. Below 4k rpms it's a little throaty but not farty. When I'm blasting along at higher RPMs it's pretty quiet actually and it does some nice pops on overrun.

Installation is pretty painless - quality is faultness and the fitment is pretty easy.

Inside the car it sounds mellow and a little throaty but not coarse and no drone - passes the girlfrend test. ;)

I don't think it's the absolute best sounding exhaust out there but I'm happy with it. It's a pretty 'mature' sounding option for those who are into that.

Might look at changing it out after I get my JDL UEL headers depending on how raspy it is then.
