2013 STI Front Brembos (Bleeders swapped)

SOLD

I have a set of 2013 front STI Brembos in good condition. The guy I bought them from said they had about 30k miles on them. The clear coat is all still intact and looks good. I've also already swapped the bleeders which if you haven't had the pleasure of doing yet, you can read about the headaches it can cause on the forums. Haha.

I bought them because I was doing the swap on my car with a different set of STI Brembos when a powdercoater insisted on separating the halves to paint them and he stripped some of the bolts. I bought these because I though my first set were trashed. Long story short, with the help of a local machine shop, some helicoils, and a new powdercoater, I was able to salvage my original set. I have since installed them and they are working perfectly. I'm very happy with this swap. So now I'm selling these spare calipers because I ended up not needing them.

I can include everything in the picture if you want including:
New Giro Disc dust boots
New ARP caliper bolts
Brembo seal conditioning fluid (about 2/3 of a bottle left. Plenty if you decide to rebuild these)
New brake pad hardware and pins
Used oem brake pads. Still have some life left if you want to use them

SOLD

Let me know if you have any questions.

Do they need to have the dust boots changed or are the just spares incase?

The dust boots are just in case you want to replace them. The guy I bought them off of gave them to me because he had them laying around.

Over all the brakes are very clean and in good condition. There is no reason to rebuild these unless you are planing to get them powdercoated in which case you might as well because you have to take them apart anyways. If you are wanting to keep them black though, then these are ready to bolt on as is.

So these would just bolt right up? Would anything else be needed? Except maybe fresh pads?

JW-BRZ 08-17-2017 07:18 PM

Yes. These'll bolt right up. The only thing you would NEED is a new set of front rotors. Any rotors from an 03-07 wrx STI with a 5x100 bolt pattern should work. There's lots of info out there on which rotors to get.

Here is one of the main threads I used on my install.

I would also probably RECOMMEND a new set of pads of your choice and some stainless brake lines all though the OEM lines will work just fine. But if you're going to upgrade you might as well do it all.
