Tuning for Grams 72mm Throttle Body
So what is the consensus on tuning for the Grams TB?
Some people have just installed with no problems and other people have had tons of problems. I'm supercharged and had to warranty my Jackson radiator and decided to upgrade the TB while I had it apart. It was working great for a few drives, then boom went into limp mode and won't reset. codes P0122 P0222. I have an accelerator position sensor on the way, it could be that... Or do I have to tune for the TB and what map needs to be calibrated?? Thanks. EDIT: LOOKS LIKE IT WAS THE ACCELERATOR SENSOR replaced it with one from a 2022 and everything is working great. Sensor must have been worn out. So if you put one in and are having trouble replace your accelerator sensor and go from there... https://www.ft86club.com/forums/pict...ictureid=12796 |
No real need to tune , so probably it s electrical problem

Check the adapter harness that comes with it and make sure its secure. Also you'll need to re-tune anyway as the amount of air coming it at idle is different. CSG was surprised by how much richer they needed to make my tune with just a 2mm bore on the stock TB. I never ran into electrical issues while using the Grams unit but I have heard stories of it.

Wire harness was good. Car ran great. I'll change out the accelerator sensor and go from there. I'll have to tune the idle and fuel, but first data logs we good... My fuel map was so good I hated to change anything, but keep moving forward... If I get it to work it will be worth it...

Quite more possible it s a loose Connector that loses contact |

Looks like it was the accelerator position sensor. Replace with one off ebay, they are on 2 month backorder, but got one off a 22...
So far working great... |
