Radio and USB Port No Power

Did some searching and didn't really find an answer to this other than check the fuses, which I did and all of them are good. So I was warming up my car this morning and noticed the phone charger I had plugged into the USB had some dirt on the pins. I scraped that off with my finger nail, plugged my phone in and went inside. When I came back out I noticed the radio was blank and the USB wasn't charging my phone. I checked all the fuses in the interior fuse box as well as the 20A in the fuse box inside the engine bay, all were good. I disconnected the negative terminal on the battery for 15 mins and then reconnected it, no luck. Has anyone had this issue before? Really just looking for some guidance as to what to do next. Is it possible my phone charger shorted out the circuit that powers the radio/USB? The clock and dome light both work fine.

Thanks for any input

UPDATE - Pulled out the HU and unplugged all plugs, plugged it back in at it was good to go. The USB works again as well.
