Any chance you can get some decibel readings? I don't have a second gen (thus a neutral party), but even the track guys might want to keep the noise down due to certain track restrictions (like Laguna Seca) and not piss off their neighbors.

muffled version with a tip option would be nice.

Yea, look at AWE’s exhaust, even the ‘touring’ version hits 96dB. That’s already too loud for a lot of tracks.

May give it a shot.

We can get dB readings. There are some decent apps for that.

Anyone have the track dB measurement specs? That will usually be a distance and height from the exhaust tip.

Bump for track specific dB and measurement specs? :)

How did you come up with 32# saved? The 22+ muffler only weights 22.5#. Is it made out of helium?

I looked at two threads where weight comparisons were made that showed the OEM weight. Maybe they were incorrect, or mislabeled as muffler when they meant more than that?

Next time the car is on the lift, I can pull it and weigh. Sorry on that!

All good. Full catback is ~35#, just the rear section is 22.5

Thank you. I'll see what I can do, but that list of stock cars that won't pass is very saddening :(

I fear Laguna is not long for this world based on all the NIMBY's.

Which just sucks that in America you can move next to a race track and then go "It should be shut down because it's too loud."

Well, like, maybe don't move next a f------- race track than?

All to common. It's happening a lot unfortunately. Tracks that were built in the sticks and own a ton of space around them seem to be growing, even adding dirt tracks and drift tracks, but in the minority. Many more are struggling and closing :(
