STI Pinks vs BRZ TS Springs

Hey Guys,
Gonna be looking into new suspension set ups. I see the new TS is coming out with performance dampers. Do we know if the TS uses the same STI pink springs that have been available since 2013?
I'd think since they have updated the dampers at least once already (Sachs) that the new TS springs are different. Based on what I've seen from Japan parts the TS uses bilstiens? Are we 100% sure that's true? Is it possible it uses the Sachs from the performance package? If it is either wouldn't the springs be different then the Pinks designed for the 2013 OEM dampers?

Let me know. I'm interested because idk if I just want Pinks, the "TS" set up from Japan parts, or if I should wait and see what the TS parts catalogue lists and compare part numbers? Is it possible to compare part numbers now?

LMK

Thanks
Dave

The STI pinks are compatible with the +'16 cars. You can check here under model E:

The suspension difference in the PP is just the dampers (Sachs). No changes in the springs. So, you can use the STI pinks with the Sachs dampers.

Spring rates where changed in BRZ's in 2017, was not just the dampers that changed

Guys I know the spring rates and dampers have changed on the normal BRZ. The question is if the aftermarket STI PINK spring rates have changed as time has moved on? Are the after market STI springs the same EXACT springs available on the BRZ tS?

I was comparing the normal +'17 car with the performance package +'17. The only change there is the dampers from Showa to Sachs.

The STI Pinks have not changed. The BRZ tS '15 suspension is Bilstein and has different springs. I would not suggest to use these. It is better to order the ones I mentioned in the first link.

So when I looked at the link provided for tS parts from Japan parts, they're Bilstein with Pinks... so if they are in fact different Pinks the only way to get the tS springs is to order the damper/ spring package?

Yes, I think so. You cannot order them separately.

Is https://www.vividracing.com/ a legit website/company? Has anyone used it? They sell the pinks but i never heard of this site until now.

This is the STI Pink Springs we are getting in the US soon. The JDM Pink Springs drops the car 15mm and the US one drops the car 10mm so i am assuming the springs are different and might even have different spring rates. STI never released spring rates for their springs as far as i know.

No idea about Vivid Racing, but you are better off getting the springs from Japanparts.com the Vivid racing shipping seems way too high.

Has anyone physically confirmed the JDM Pinks are 5mm lower than the USDM?

I have a 2020 tS and am curious about these as an option for lower ride height.

Yes, its well documented throughout the forums that the JDM Pink springs lower 15mm. Honestly, not sure why they didnt just use the JDM springs on the tS...

Here are some posts about the JDM Pink Springs.

I’d say it’s closer to a 10mm drop on the JDM STi springs, just like the USDM ones.

Also I believe the USDM STi springs may be softer than your oem TS springs.

Here’s my car on JDM STi springs:
