Welcome to our forum - :)

I'd suggest you dry the seat really good, then disconnect the negative side of the battery for a minute or so, step on the brake, then reconnect the battery terminal.

Maybe that will re-set the light.

All will be fine when it is dry. They don't use an old fashioned weight activated switch but work with a sensor that detects electrical capacitance. This means that anything wet or electronic can set it off. You could pile 100 bricks there with nothing but a plugged it cell phone or gallon of milk will activate it.

Has anyone measured the capacitance of an ass? Is it measured in farass's?

Just don't confuse it with measuring capacity. That uses buttload as the unit.

Don't even need the phone attached, just plug in a USB cable and toss it on the seat and it goes crazy.

Annoying.

Hmm, never noticed it with just a cable only when something is plugged in causing an electrical flow.

Pressured the Attorney General not to prosecute a Canadian company for bribery charges in bidding on jobs in Libya a decade ago.

My favourite thing that set it off was a ham sandwich. Just one sandwich.

With cheese and mayo?

I set my phone on the seat all the time and nothing. :iono:
