What is this electric plug ?
 

By accident I found a plug that is strangely dirty, and that looked corroded. At a place where it does not make any sense since the surroundings are quite okay !

It’s normally attached just below the grey one on top of it :

No one has a clue ? Or know a place where I can find some diagrams maybe ?

Well, I looked on my 2013 FR-S and that plug is plugged together and affixed underneath that big gray plug.

I have no idea what it does. However, I would suggest you clean it up and plug it back together - and then see what works on your car that didn't before.

I'll ring up ol @soundman98 for you, he knows a lot about electrical stuff.

i don't know what it does, but if it's there, and there's a mating connector, i'd plug it in!

It looks like rat urine to me.

Based on its simplicity, reverse trigger? Just speculation

Looks like it is going to the starter to me. I can't tell if it is corroded or if it has dielectric grease on it.

How many pins is it?

I already figured it out in the post above yours. It is the starter wire.

I don't care about a manky looking plug, what's with the oil splodge lurking in the background?
