Got it. I don't think that's the kits fault. I think it's just the bumper and it's lack of high-end quality... IMO

You can experience the issue by simply removing the bumper for any reason:

For me. I notice the BRZ front bumper already come with a little gap. so that looks just a tad bit popped out to me. I am getting my kit soon and would like to know if the piping in front would cause an issue like the one you posted. Does anybody here have that problem with alignment after the SC installation on the bumper?

You need to be extremely careful pulling off the bumper :)

i guess i'd rather not have the fitment issues that some of the guys are experiencing, if i have it done by a shop, hopefully i can avoid that. still on the fence about FI but if i were to, this is probably the kit i would use.

Take your time with the install, and the bumper will line up just right.

The charge pipes should not be touching the bumper at all, if installed correctly.

It's a BRZ issue, not a car issue. The FRS is similarly bad as well.

Seeing 100+ once can already pull your bumper out of alignment on this car.

Its not the kit itself that is causing the issue, it just that the placement of the elbow has to be at an exact place. Before putting on the couplings, line the pipes up right to see how it should look before installling

i was definitely not trying to imply that the fitment issues was because of a defective design, i was trying to say, if it's a tight squeeze, i'd rather have a professional do it.

So I used my first full tank of gas since installing the kit. Total miles were 315. My last tank before the kit was around 360.

I honestly thought I was going to lose a lot more mpg than that. This just adds to the benefits of this kit... doesn't drink all your gas.

Trust me... I wasn't babysitting the throttle ether :D

What time are those Irvine meets? I'm right down the street and wanna drop in. Tuesdays in that mostly-asian mall on jamboree right?

Do it. I could write a Hemingway novel to persuade you to get this kit, but I won't.

I did the research, did the ride along test drive, bugged a million forum members.... I got. Love it.
